Jesse Morgan

Marion-Jesse Leondress Morgan, 66, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at his home. Jesse was born September 27, 1947 in Flint, Michigan to Robert Lee and Vennie Lue (Townsend) Morgan. He was a member of the Army's 101st Airborne and served three tours in Vietnam.   Jesse really enjoyed his job and the company of his coworkers at Second Baptist Church in Marion.  He liked to fish and garden and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Jesse will be missed by all. Survivors include: Children: Twrana Harris of Oxford, Mississippi Aleana  Morgan of Dallas, Texas Jerry Leondress Morgan of Evansville, Indiana Chad Morgan of Evansville, Indiana Grandchildren: Alethea Blake Brianna Tyryn Ian Catherine Two sisters: Listeen Brown of Grand Blanc, Michigan Wanda L. Hoey and husband Rosemond of Flint, Michigan Brother-in-law-Sherman Davis of Flint, Michigan Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Albert Morgan and sister, Rose Marie Davis. The memorial visitation will be held in the sanctuary in Second Baptist Church in Marion on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 1pm-4pm.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting with arrangements Memorial donations are suggested to the Second Baptist Church in Marion and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N.
