Jerry Wayne Walker TUNNEL HILL-Jerry Wayne Walker, 60, of Tunnel Hill, passed away at 12:42 AM, Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Pastor Glenn Webb officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 27, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Tunnel Hill. Memorials may be made to the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Jerry was born May 1, 1950 in Carbondale to Helen (Raglin) Walker. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jerrod and Jenny Walker of Goreville; son, Wesley Walker of Tunnel Hill; granddaughter, Cheyenne Walker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Dale Arnold of Marion and Rose and Vick Marsh of Colorado; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Toni Walker of Colorado; and step-mother, Aurella Walker of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his mother; granddaughter, Lillian Rose Walker; and cousin, Terry Raglin. Jerry worked for Southern Illinois Co-op power plant for 36 years as a shift foreman. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, going to movies and spending time on the farm.
