Marion- Jerry R. Baker, 58, of Marion, passed away at 8:24 PM, Friday, November 28, 2014 at his home in Marion.
Jerry was born on March 30, 1956 in Marion to Thomas R. and Patsy (Motsinger) Baker.
He began his career at Baker Automotive Salvage and Towing in Marion and then later as a coal miner for Zeigler Coal Company.
He was a member of the Marion Masonic Lodge and the Williamson County Shrine Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, Sprint Car Racing at various tracks throughout the US, jugging for fish at area lakes and ponds and spending time with his family and friends.

Daughter- Jessica Baker of Paducah, Kentucky
Daughter- Tabe Thia of Paducah, Kentucky

He was preceded in death by his father in 2001.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Shorty Alsip and Rev. Kenneth Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will be conducted by the Marion Masonic Lodge AF&AM at 6:30 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
