Jerry D. Hale, Jr. MARION-Jerry D. Hale, Jr., 34, of Marion passed away at 10:00 PM, Friday, October 28, 2005 as the result of an automobile accident east of Herrin. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 31, 2005 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. There will be no visitation. Jerry was born on November 28, 1970 in Peoria, Illinois to Jerry D. and Joyce (Pine) Hale. He married Marietta Bankston on July 18, 1994 in Paducah, Kentucky. Survivors include his wife, Marietta; son, Jack Hale; daughter, Cindy Hale; daughter and son-in-law, Josie and Roy Ford; grandchildren, Brittany Earl, Dakota Ford and Austin Ford; his parents, Jerry D. and Joyce Hale; brothers and sister-in-law, Chester Hale and Phillip and Gloria Hale; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Tony Holland and Chris and Darrell Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry worked in construction as a roofer.
