Jena Bloodworth

MARION-Jena Bloodworth, 81, of Marion passed away at 6:00 PM, Monday, February 14, 2005 at Edwards Hospital in Naperville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Charles Boling officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Marion. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Bloodworth was born on November 3, 1923 in Rector, Arkansas to Arter and Lela (Graves) Rasberry. She married Luther Bloodworth, he preceded her in death on August 5, 1988. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Larry Ray and Kate Bloodworth of Marion; Sharon Sue Culbreth of Lockport; grandchildren, Gary, Melissa and Christopher Culbreth, Brad Bloodworth, and Larry, Karen, Megan and Mark Thetford; great grandchildren, Jena Ruth, Jake, Trevor and Gillian Culbreth; and sisters, Dorothy `Dot` Chamness and Herma Clark both of Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Mrs. Bloodworth worked as a sales clerk for the Dotty Shop, Toppers, Meis and Elder Beerman. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Marion.
