Emblem

Jeffrey Allen Meyer, 57, of Marion, peacefully passed away on September 29, 2024, with his family by his side.

Jeff was born on October 15, 1966, in Winona, Minnesota to Stanley and Cecilia Meyer.

He is survived by his son Zachery Allen Meyer, his fiancé Jennifer Voyles, his brother Robert “Bob” (Brenda Grant) Meyer, his sisters Lori (Randy) Hancock and Leslie (Jeff) Somers. He was affectionately known as Uncle by his six nieces.

Jeff was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church for most of his life. He loved his church and church family. They were always a great source of strength for him.

He was a die-hard Rams fan no matter what city they were in. Sunday afternoons you could always find him watching NFL. Jeff was looking forward to marrying Jennifer. They shared many of the same interests and enjoyed time together.

His greatest accomplishment was his son Zach. He was immensely proud of everything he did. He was always bragging about him, talking about him, or spoiling him.

Jeff will be remembered for his kind and generous heart, his delicious croissants he made every Thanksgiving and for his trusting nature. He fought his cancer with as much fight, determination and optimism as any one person could. He never complained.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 10:00 A.m. until noon at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church located at 1501 Broeking Road in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Kim Lee- Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemtery in Marion.

In lieu of customary remembrances the family requests with gratitude that memorial donations be directed to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
