Jeffrey Wayne McMillian “Jeff” went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 16, 2024. He was born on January 9, 1961, in Conroe, Texas, to Benjamin “Bennie” and Billie Rosamond McMillian.
In 1986, Jeff moved to Marion, Illinois, where he quickly embraced the community and made it his home. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he later worked as an Air Traffic Controller at Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois and later became the Air Traffic Manager. Jeff also managed IT Services for MBI Worldwide in Marion.
Jeff had a deep passion for computers, enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, and often helped his neighbor Eddie with marine outboard repairs. He was a devoted Mason. Most importantly, Jeff was a person of Faith, whose love for God was steadfast, and he never hesitated to share his Faith and Joy with others.
He is survived by his brothers, Bruce McMillian and Joe McMillian, along with Bruce’s wife Susan McMillian; nieces, Katherine Sample and Kimberly Pickle; nephew, Matthew McMillian; great-nephews, Grant and Garrett Sample, and Arthur and Walter Pickle; father-in-law, Jerry Riddle; and stepson, Kyle Bean.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his wife, Michelle Bean.
