Jeffrey Scott Hentz

Jeffrey S. Hentz, 58, died peacefully on June 8, 2022 at home in Marion, Illinois. 

He was born in Clayton, Missouri on June 28, 1963. Jeff graduated from Crystal Lake South High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois.  Jeff loved life “in the fast lane” and pushing it to the limits.  He was an avid sportsman and loved spending time with his family. 

Jeff is survived by his mother- Maureen, his wife- Lisa, who he married in 2016, daughter- Kelsey, sons- Nicholas and Jordan, and brothers Mark, Chris and Chuck.

A catholic mass only to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion, IL. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated and may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105.

Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
