Jeffrey Dwyer

Marion Jeffrey Dwyer, 49, passed away May 11, 2012 at 3:35 PM at his home in Marion. Funeral services for Mr. Dwyer will be held at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion on Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 at 11AM. Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. There will be a visitation held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 from 4pm-8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, and will be received at the funeral home or may be mailed C/O Blue Funeral Home PO Box 411 Marion IL, 62959. Mr. Dwyer was born in Minot, North Dakota, the son of James and Doris (Gray) Dwyer. He married Laurie Frantz at the First Baptist Church in Marion on July 21st, 1990. She survives in Marion. Mr. Dwyer belonged to Chapter 22 of the Blue Knights of Illinois. He loved to ride his motorcycle and camping. He enjoyed making people laugh and being the life of the party. He will be missed by all of his friends and family. Survivors include daughters, Brooke Mayhew, Chelsy Dwyer and Casey Dwyer all of Marion; mother, Doris Dwyer of Marion; siblings, Mike & Lisa Sneed of Platte City, MO, Sue & Joe Frey of Marion, Ed & Yolanda Dwyer of Marion, Jim Dwyer of Marion and Kelly & John Baker of Marion; aunt, Nancy Smith of Marion and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and uncle, Ralph Smith.
