Jean Upchurch

Eva Jean Upchurch, age 86, of Johnston City, passed away at 6:07pm on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Herrin Hospital.

She was born in Crab Orchard on January 15, 1934, the daughter of William Floyd and Annie May (Motsinger) McDonald. She married Meredith Ralph Upchurch in Carb Orchard o January 19, 19523. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1990.

Survivors include her son- David and Sondra Upchurch of Milton, Florida

Daughter- Teresa and Ronald Jones of Johnston City

Six Grandchildren- Brian and Naomi Upchurch

     Brooke Helsley

     Michael and Laura Upchurch

     John and Brittney Jones

     Miranda and Josh Langelier

     Seth Palmer

Seven Great Grandchildren

Sister- Mary Alice “Cooter” Gabriel of Marion

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother- William “Bill” McDonald.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Shed Church Cemetery with Rev. David Milburn officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
