Jean Moyer

Jean Moyer, 81, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Jean was born June 18, 1931 in Golden Gate, Illinois the daughter of Frank and Selma (Goodwin) Malone. She married Wesley Moyer on June 8, 1963 in Marion and together they shared almost 48 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2011. She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Marion and she was formerly employed at Sears where she had worked for many years. Jean enjoyed crafts, cooking and traveling with her husband. She is survived by; Sister-in-laws; Ruth Malone Barbara Day Madelyn Moyer Brother-in-law – Robert Moyer Several nieces and nephews Preceded by her Parents, Husband, Brothers – Pat Malone and Kenneth Malone. Funeral services will be Friday, July 27, 2012 at 1 P.M. at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Tim Ozment officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Beulah Church Camp or the Marion Ministerial Alliance.
