Janis K. Borum MARION-Janis K. Borum, 49, of Marion passed away at 12:55 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend David Hancock officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, December 11, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery in Creal Springs. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Fairview Baptist Church; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Janis was born November 19, 1960 in Marion to James Laverne and Violet Imogene (Adams) Borum. Survivors include sister, Shirley Johnson of Creal Springs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Vicky Borum and Eugene and Judy Borum all of Creal Springs and Ronnie and Peggy Borum of Marion; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew. Janis loved to go to church and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Her family thought she was a very special lady and she will be missed.
