LAKE OF EGYPT-Jane W. Levin, 87, of the Lake of Egypt, passed away at 1:43 PM, Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the Schielka Addison Street Funeral Home, 7710 West Addison Street, Chicago, IL 60634. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 9:00 PM, Monday, November 13, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Elmwood Park Cemetery in River Grove. A memorial service will be held at the Lake of Egypt Christian Church and announced at a later date. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the local arrangements. Mrs. Levin was born on August 10, 1919 in Chicago to Fredrick and Jennie (Lian) Madsen.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet E. Shill of the Lake of Egypt; grandchildren, Harry A. Shill and James A. Shill; step-grandchildren, Charles I. Shill, Carolyn Vanerman, Caryn Aysque, Michael L. Shill, Cindy Barnes, and Nancy Stewart; great grandchild, Kamryn; thirteen step-great grandchildren; nine step-great great grandchildren; sister, Gladys Reiter of the Lake of Egypt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Alfred H. BuWalda and Victor Levin; and eight brothers and sisters, Maria, Laverne, Violet, Delores, Ruth, Shirley and Fred.
Mrs. Levin was a member of the Lake of Egypt Christian Church. She was a homemaker.
