Jane Molt

Jane “Becky” Molt Goreville-Jane Molt, 74, of Goreville, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at her home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Friends & Family officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the American Cancer Society; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Jane was born on August 6, 1936 in Marion to Fred & Emma Mae (Bouldin) Peebles. Survivors include loving her children, Phillip & Gina Melton of Carbondale, Todd & Lydia Melton of Houston, TX, Darryl Melton of Goreville, Karen Molt-Peterson of Country Club Hills and Gary Molt of Evans, CO.; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, John & Judy Peebles of Hendersonville, TN and Len & Darlene Peebles of Weatherford, TX. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband and brother, Tom Peebles. She loved ceramics, sewing, reading, crossword puzzles and raising her goats. Jane was an active member of her community; joining the 4-H Club, Goreville Women’s Club & the Illinois Home Extension. She was a great mother and will be dearly missed.
