Jane L. Patterson GOREVILLE- 8220;Jane L. Patterson, 86, of Goreville passed away at 10:59 AM, Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Herrin Hospital. Mrs. Patterson’s wishes were to be cremated with burial at a later date in Lakebank Cemetery in Lathan, Illinois next to her husband. There will be no local services. Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Patterson was born June 3, 1921 in St. Louis, Missouri to Herb and Eva Marie (Hamilton) Young. She married Sgt. Robert L. Patterson on February 14, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Julie Marie Ausmus of Sherman; daughter Sandra Elledge Reed and husband Rick of Goreville; grandchildren Kerri Misseldine and husband Rob of Virden, Cindy Bautista of Herrin, Erica Wise and husband Jay of Springfield, Phillip Tate of Springfield, Rick Reed Jr. of Sullivan, and Roger Reed of Mattoon; ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, husband, son-in-law Tim Ausmus, and great-granddaughter Laura Marie Wise. Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Girard, Illinois.
