VIENNA - James S. Mick, 63, of Vienna, passed away at 12:45 a.m. April 6, 2013, in Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
According to his wishes, Mr. Mick's body will be cremated and a graveside service will be at a later date.
Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with arrangements.
James was born May 29, 1949, in Harrisburg to James Mick Jr. and Nina Hooten.
He married Marilyn Warren on Nov. 21, 2000, in Santa Rosa, N.M. She survives of Vienna.
He is survived by wife, Marilyn of Vienna; mother, Nina Mick of Carterville; children, Crystal and Rick Taylor of Sandusky, Ohio, Jamie Crecelius of Carbondale, James D. Mick of Carbondale, Zachariah Mick, who is serving in the military in Texas, Brian and Miketa Warren of Buncombe and Sarah and Curtis Moore of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Christian Taylor, Isabella Taylor, Evaden Crecelius, Elliana Crecelius, Mason Warren, Corbin Warren, Jackson Warren, Taleah Warren, Faith Warren, Pandora Warren, Jaden Moore and Shaylee Moore; cousins, Tootie and Rod Noel; brother, Terry and Tracie Mick of Grand Tower; and nieces and nephews, James N. Mick, Jenny Mick, Cassandra and Scott Nanney.
James was preceded in death by his father; son, Jeremiah Mick; and daughter, Faith Mick.
James loved to ride motorcycles and enjoy the outdoors. He also loved rescuing cats and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
