James Lloyd Lunsford MARION-James Lloyd Lunsford, 62, of Marion passed away at 11:40 AM, Monday, June 9, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church building fund or the St. Joseph Catholic Church building fund; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. James was born July 1, 1945 in Marion to Lloyd and Rosemary (Cleek) Lunsford. Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Lunsford of Crab Orchard, Michael and Shirley Lunsford of Clarksvile, Tennessee, Patrick and Janice Lunsford of Whiting, Paul and Regina Lunsford of Carterville and Joseph Lunsford of Marion; several nieces and nephews; and a cousin that he thought of as a brother, Richard Glenn Jaco of California. He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers; and sister, Rosemary Lunsford. James was of the Catholic faith. He was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.
