James Krumrey

March 19, 1965 — March 19, 2014

Marion-James Earl (Blumenstock) Krumrey, Jr. left this life on March 19, 2014 with his loving wife, Margaret and sister Terra Hill at his side. James was born on March 19, 1965 in Marion, Illinois. He graduated from Marion High School, Class of 1983. Jim was a gifted artist, especially with freehand sketching. His passion for “Nascar” racing and Harley Davidson motorcycles remained throughout his lifetime. Jim spent special time with his brother-in-law, Don Hill and lifelong friend, Billy Fisher. On August 8, 2009, Jim married Margaret Hutchcraft in Marion, Illinois. His family became the center of his world with children Amanda (Shawn) Harris and Dennis Taul and grandchildren, Mikayla and Braydin who became the light of his life. A third grandchild, Brandin, preceded him in death. Jim will be dearly missed by his family. Visitation for Jim “Krum” will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at The CROSS Community Church (aka Parish Park Baptist Church) 1505 E. Boyton in Marion from 1pm-3pm with memorial services afterward. Bro Bryan Braden and Bro. Dan King will preside over the services. Floral arrangements should be delivered directly to the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
