Carterville-James “Jim” Kenneth Clark, 64, passed away at 6:14pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at his home.
Jim was born on July 31, 1950 in Flint, MI to Donald and Imogene (Tedford) Clark. He married Kay Helwig on February 22, 1969 in Flint, MI. She survives of Carterville.
Jim enjoyed country music and was musically inclined and knowledgeable about all instruments. He played lead guitar for The Dreamers of Marion and Whiskey River of Harrisburg. Jim was especially creative and imaginative and enjoyed fishing and constructing model cars, especially late model muscle cars. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brothers, Roger Clark and Gary Clark.
It was Jim’s wishes to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at the family’s home, 1830 Walnut Grove, Harrisburg on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 12pm-2pm. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
