James Doron

Creal Springs James L. Doron, 82 of Creal Springs, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 9:26 PM at Heartland Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Funeral services for Mr. Doron will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. John Howatt officiating. Interment will follow in County Line Cemetery in Creal Springs. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 PM on Sunday, December 16, 2012. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. James was born in Creal Springs to Arlie & Lela (Atwood) Doron on Sunday, December 29, 1929. He married Mae Dean Lamphere in Marion on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 1951. They were days shy of celebrating their 61st anniversary. Mr. Doron is survived by his loving wife, Mae Dean; daughters, Karen & Ronnie Witt and Nancy & Devin Steh of Creal Springs; son, David & Kim Doron of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Jimmy Sanchez, Erin James, Akita Doron, Anthony & Amy Doron and Wendy & Bryan Springvloed; great-grandchildren, Eli, Lela and Chapman Springvloed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie & Lela and a brother, Henry Doron. Mr. Doron had been a member of Cana Baptist Church in Creal Springs for 50 years. He had retired from CIPS after many years of faithful service. James was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
