Jacquelyn L. “Jacky” Gibson CREAL SPRINGS-Jacquelyn L. “Jacky” Gibson, 63, of Creal Springs passed away at 4:45 AM, Sunday, March 9, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Steve Shea officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery in Goreville. Memorials may be made to Friendship Cemetery Fund; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Gibson was born on December 7, 1944 in Chicago to Lewis and Lily M. (Michaels) Felcher. She married Charles F. Gibson on March 18, 1961 in Chicago; together they shared 46 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Charles of Creal Springs; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly Dunn of Marion, Jessica and Jeffrey Jones of Salem, Theresa “Tracy” and Reverend Steve Shea of Stonefort, and Hannah Gibson of Creal Springs; sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Rhonda Gibson of Marion and Charles “Charley” and Tara Gibson of Creal Springs; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley P. and Virginia “ginger” Michaels of Sheffield; sister, Donna rice of South Carolina; four nieces; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Joshua Shea. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Reynoldsburg Church. She was a homemaker and a foster mother to many. She loved arts and crafts, sewing, reading, playing the organ and singing. She loved her family and her family loved her, she will be missed by all.
