Jack W. “Jack Rabbitt” Frasier
MARION-Jack W. “Jack Rabbitt” Frasier, 70, of Marion passed away at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Blue Funeral Home, Marion with Pastor Cindy Absher and Pastor Rick Dawson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery, Goreville. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.
Mr. Frasier was born on July 16, 1936 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Murray and Ruth (Rutledge) Frasier. He married Patty Hitt on March 10, 1956 in Hernando, Mississippi; together they shared 50 years of marriage.
Survivors include his wife, Patty of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Mark Siedler of Marion; grandchildren, Jeremy and Amber Siedler of Marion and Krista and Dustin Motley of Mustang, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Jonathan Siedler, Aubrey Siedler, Regan Green, Brendon Motley and one on the way; his mother, Ruth Frasier of Marion; sister and brother-in-law, Geri and George Karch of Benton, Kentucky; and brothers and sister-in-law, Frank and Dici Frasier of Yulee, Florida and Rick Frasier of Pittsfield.
He was preceded in death by his father; son, Mike Frasier; and sister, Betty Kingston.
Mr. Frasier was a member of the New Hope Church of God. He retired from Short Brothers construction in 2005. He loved to fish and spend time with his family especially his grandkids.
