Ileta Davis

Creal Springs-Ileta Inez Davis, 80, went to be with her lord and savior on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at her home. Ileta was born on February 13, 1935 in Carrier Mills to Jewel and Mabel (Davenport) Harris.  She married Edward Davis in Creal Springs on March 29, 1955.  He preceded her in death on January 12, 2015. Ileta loved to read and work crossword puzzles.  The joy of her later life was her granddaughter Tosha Bonds, her grandson Benjamin Reams and great grandson Mason Bonds. Survivors include: Children: Susan and Lonny Reams of Pittsburg Becky and Travis Mattingly of Angelville Daughter-in-law - Ann Davis of Creal Springs Grandchildren: Tosha and Tommy Bonds of Marion Benjamin Reams of Pittsburg Great grandchildren: Mason Bonds Kaitlyn Bonds Kirstie and Josh Newsom Great-great granddaughter-Nevaeh Newsom Brothers: Lowell and Jean Harris of Pontiac, MI Marvin and Norma Harris of Russellville, AL She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Danny Davis; sister, Bonnie Woodworth and brothers, Jewel Harris, Jr., Fred Harris and Arvin Harris. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Deon Baker officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.
