Helen L Schutzenhofer Nashville-Helen Schutzenhofer 83, Formerly of Marion passed away at 10:29 PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 25, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Deacon John Hempen and her brother Richard Randol officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday August 24, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Mrs. Schutzenhofer was born December 5, 1922 in McClure, Illinois to Earl Caroll and Mary (Stephens) Randol. She married Al Schutzenhofer on May 7, 1949. He preceded her in death on November 22, 1984. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Karen and Richard Burks of Herrin; Mary and Marty Baker of Marion; Three sons and daughters-in-law Ronald and Anita Schutzenhofer of Herrin; Dr. Edward and Sheila Schutzenhofer of Marion; Dr. James and Karla Schutzenhofer of Nashville. Twelve grandchildren, Darrin Burks and wife, Amanda; Melissa Burks and fiancé, Justin Corollo; Amy May and husband Billy; Lori McGuire and husband, Dr. Dennis McGuire; Holly Baker; Ryan Baker and fiancée, Amber Yates; Stephanie Schutzenhofer; Rondell Morris and husband Darren; Jami Johnson and husband Rick; Jon, Erika, And Rebecca Schutzenhofer. Eleven great-grandchildren, Will and Shanie May; Brocton, Victoria, and London McGuire; Alexandria Skuta; Hunter Emery; Ivy Morris; Jacob Johnson; Kiah Burks; Alex Corollo; and soon to be grandson Luke Johnson. Three sisters and four brothers; Genevieve Randol of McClure; Almos Randol and wife Clair; Wayne Randol and wife Alma of Cape Girardeau, MO; Ramona Easton and husband Ernie; Carrol Randol and wife Milred; Richard Randol and wife Jane; and Naomi Johnson all of Georgia, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and sisters, Freida Wagnor; Norma Welker; Rose Laree Smithey; and grandson, Brian Schutzenhofer. Mrs. Schutzenhofer was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith, she enjoyed reading the Bible, the Vatican catholic magazine, playing Scrabble and spending time with her family.
