Helen L. Massey Goreville-Helen L. Massey, 81, of Anna, formerly of Goreville, went home to be with Jesus at 7:20 AM on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at her home in Anna. Funeral service will held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville, with Reverend C.E. Sullivan officiating. Visitation will on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home in Goreville. Burial will be at Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Memorials may be made to Tip Hospice of Anna and Lick Creek Pentecostal Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Helen was born on January 12, 1930 in Granger, Missouri to George P. & Julia E. (Flick) Flick. She married William E. Massey on October 21, 1949 and he preceded her in death on February 6, 1988. To this union seven children were born. She is survived by 4 daughters and 2 sons, Joyce & Jr. Sullivan, June & Peck Dunn, and Robert & Teresa Massey all of Goreville, Bonnie & Rick Brimm of Anna, Kathy & Darrel McNeely, and Stephen & Kelly Massey of Jackson, Tennessee, daughter-in-law LaMona Flick of Goreville; 21 grand kids; 28 great-grand kids; and 1 great-great-grand child; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Jim Flick of California, Floyd Flick of Kansas City, Gene Flick of Grand Tower, Hazel Reichrath and Creva Henson of Anna. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kenny Flick; grandsons, Brian Lee Young and Bobby Cruze; great-grandson, Christopher Walker; and sister, Judy Kreutzberg. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family, kids, grand Kids, and great grand kids. She also enjoyed reading, embroidering, sewing, quilting, and gardening. For everybody that knew her she was a great lady, a good mother, grand mother, and mother-in-law. She will be greatly missed
