Helen Grace Harness

Carrier Mills- Helen Grace Harness, age 100, passed away at 6:46am on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.

Helen was born in Peoria on August 29, 1920, the daughter of William and Frances (Bone) Brown. She was the last living of the ten children to this union. Helen married Harold Harness in 1937. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1996.

Harold (Norma) Harness, Jr. of East Peoria

One half-sibling

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson- Darrell Merrell, nine brothers and sisters and one half-sibling.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. John Howat officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery- Poordo.  A time of visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.
