Marion-Harold Worthen, 99, passed away on Sunday evening, August 20, 2017 in his home with his family by his side.
Harold was born on October 15, 1917 in Marion to Harold and Mable (Logan) Worthen Sr. He married Lois Spiller on July 31, 1938. They had two sons.
Harold was loved by everyone who knew him and was a kind, gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor.
Harold was an electrician and worked for CIPS (Ameren). He was a member of IBEW Local 702. Harold was a faithful Christian and member of Marion First Baptist Church. He enjoyed his friends and fellowship at the Marion Senior Citizens Center where he also served on the board.
Harold enjoyed all sports through participation and coaching. He will be missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois and sister, Maureen Johnston
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.
