Harold Lynn Watkins

Harold Lynn Watkins, age 88, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Integrity Health Care in Marion, Illinois.

Harold was born October 22, 1935 in Marion, Illinois, a son of Arthur and Claira (Sanders) Watkins. Harold grew up in rural Marion and attended LeMasters Grade School. Harold was known as a "Jack of All Trades". He had worked several jobs in the area including Marion Roofing, and as a carpenter for Art Fisher for many years. Harold enjoyed hunting when he was younger and gardening.

He is survived by two sisters, Helen Hollman of Phoenix, AZ and Melanie Sutton of Britt, IA and his 17 nieces and nephews, and 50 great nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Claira Watkins Sr. and six siblings, Naomi Turner, Margie Gore, Roger Watkins, Arthur Watkins Jr., Earl Boyd Watkins, and Ruth Boyt.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion, Illinois. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024, 11:00 AM at Maplewood Cemtery with Rev Kevin McNeely officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion.
