Harold Fambrough

Marion- Harold Fambrough, 84, of Marion passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Marion VA Medical Center. According to his wishes, Mr. Fambrough is to be cremated. Services will be private. Harold Fambrough was born in Hurst, Il on August 26, 1927 to Samuel and Effie (Rains) Fambrough. He married Ursula M. Koban, who preceded him in death on November 5, 2000. Mr. Fambrough was in the Army, retiring as a Sergeant, and a lifetime member of Amvets. Mr. Fambrough is survived by his two nephews; William E. Murphy and wife Norma of Marion and Charles W. Murphy and wife Linda of Creal Springs. One great niece, Anita Murphy, of Creal Springs. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, his brother Harrison Fambrough and three sisters; Edna Murphy, Lucena Bozarth and Marguerite Fambrough.
