Gregory Merle Kessel

Greg Kessel, age 70, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at his home in Marion.

Greg was born in Marion on June 4, 1952 to proud parents Merle Kessel and Faye (Ellis) Kessel. Greg owned and operated Kessel Landscaping Service in Marion for over 25 years. He had many other talents as well, such as singing and songwriting, guitar playing, cooking, and making others laugh.

He is survived by his son, Dylan Kessel, and his daughter Sarah (Kessel) Richey.

There will be no services at this time. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.

Greg will be remembered and cherished as a loving father, a talented musician, a great friend, and an avid animal lover.
