Marion-Gleness Knight Andrew, 91, passed away on December 4, 2013 at Parkway Manor in Marion. Gleness was born on July 23, 1922 in Rosiclare, IL to E.A. and Janie (Woods) Knight. She married Bennett Andrew on August 11, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2003. Gleness was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of Heartland Christian Church. Survivors include: Sons: Stephen Andrew and wife Linda of Marion John Andrew and wife Carol of Marion Glenn Andrew and wife Theresa of Rosiclare Grandson-Bradley Bennett Andrew of Marion Granddaughter-Angela Glynn Davis and husband Edward of Las Vegas, Nevada Great Grandson-Rance Andrew of Marion Sister-Katheryn Hargan of Marion Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant son; grandson, Scott Andrew and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:30am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Bro. Greg Gibbs officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 9:30am until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Heartland Christian Church and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL 62959.
