Glada Cagle CREAL SPRINGS-Glada Cagle, 66, of Creal Springs passed away at 8:10 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Tim Woodard officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Tunnel Hill. Mrs. Cagle was born on December 9, 1938 in Urbana, Illinois to Herbert and Imogene (Hammond) Mathews. She married Thomas (Frank) Cagle on July 25, 1986 at the Creal Springs Northern Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Barbara and Rodney Pritchett of Goreville; son Jim Thome of Creal Springs; grandchildren, Stacy and Nate Eaton of Goreville, Josh Pritchett of Goreville, Aaron Pritchett of Goreville, Sara Thome of Herrin; great grandchild, Conner Eaton of Goreville; brothers, Earl and Virginia Lane of Thomson, Georgia, Bill and Barbara Lane of Fernandina Beach, Florida; Mary and Larry Hampel of Murray, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Ricky Thome. Mrs. Cagle loved to play bingo and gardening. She was a member of the Creal Springs VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Marion Eagles Auxiliary, and the Carrier Mills American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Her laugh was infectious and she will be missed by all.
