Marion- Virginia M. “Ginger” Baker, 61, of Marion, passed away at 1:25 AM, Sunday, October 26, 2014 at her home in Marion.
Ginger was born on July 4, 1953 in Canton, IL to Wayne and Margaret (Moore) Haffner. She married James “Bob” Baker and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2007.
She worked as bar manager for the Marion American Legion for many years.
Ginger was a Christian and enjoyed listening to a variety of music, camping and spending time with her grandkids. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Daughter- Storm Kellermeier of Marion
Son- Shaun Schoonover and wife Kim of Chillicothe, IL
Daughter- Shane Schoonover Rosencrans of Lewiston, IL
Seven grandchildren including- Zack and Angie Kellermeier of Johnston City

Doug Haffner and wife Ashley of Wyoming, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. John Burnett will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at Cana Cemetery in Goreville. A time of visitation will begin at 12 Noon, Thursday and extend until time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
