Geraldine Naomi Legg Marion- Geri Legg, 86, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 3:10PM at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church in Marion; Reverend Wade Halva & Reverend Dan Whitfield will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements. Geri was born on August 9, 1924 in Marion to Robert & Rilla (Bryant) Barnett. Survivors include her daughter, Judy & David Smits of Marion; sister, Vivian Crofts of Marion and several nieces & nephews. Geri was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marion. She was a former bookkeeper and Welcome Wagon Hostess. She was an artist and will be greatly missed.
