Geraldine Dolores Schreiner

Herrin-Geraldine Dolores Schreiner, 82, passed away at 4:54 pm on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Home in Herrin. Geraldine was born on November 3, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clarence and Geraldine (Wilker) Dawson. She married Raymond “Jug” Schreiner, he preceded her in death on June 5, 2006. Geraldine was a homemaker and had a strong Christian faith. Survivors include: Daughters: Jan Lynn Sprout Karen & Mike Vanelli Tracy Dee Flood Grandchildren: Matt & Julie Sprout Tammy & Kevin Sander Andrew Vanelli Gabriel Vanelli Ezra Burgess Great-Grandchildren: Bailey Vanelli Mackenzie Sprout Zachary Sprout Kyleigh Sprout Nathan Sprout Kynlie Sanders Jakob Sanders She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Clarence Dawson and Ronald Dawson. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 2 at Davis Prairie Cemetery, East of Marion. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is handling arrangements.
