GeorgeAnn Denny

GeorgeAnn Denny, age 79, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at her home in Marion, Illinois.

GeorgeAnn was born July 01, 1943 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of George and Alma (Green) McCombs. She married Rodney Denny in 1983 and he preceded her in death in 1992.  Prior to her retirement, GeorgeAnn had worked in cleaning services, taking great pride in the homes and businesses she served.  

She is survived by three children, Marty (Kathy) Martin, Sherry Martin, and Theresa Martin; six grandchildren, Marbia (Nick) Bonner, Hallie Martin, Jacob (Jacqueline) Clendenin, Jason (Ashley) Clendenin, Keri (Greg) Johnson, and Kelsey Sue Borum; two siblings, Cheryl Bryant and Joe McCombs; and her Great Grandchildren, Sawyer, Silas, and Sterling Bonner; her best friend Helen Dempsey, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Rodney Denny; her parents, George and Alma (Green) McCombs; and four sisters, Barbara (Bob) Brooks, Jeanette Wade, Delores (Don) Manis, and Sue Borum.

As per her wishes, there will be no services at this time. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
