George Zack Morrison GOREVILLE- 8220;George Zack Morrison, 91, of Goreville passed away at 3:29 AM, Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Reverend Tim Woodard officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 22, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Johnson County. Memorials may be made to Goreville Senior Citizens; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mr. Morrison was born January 21, 1916 in Merriman, Nebraska to George and Mary (White) Morrison. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Janet Morrison of Anna; son, Jerry Morrison of Goreville; grandchildren, Annette and Wade Pritchett, John Morrison, James Morrison, Mindy and Scott Farren and Andy Morrison; great grandchildren, Gary William Morrison, Amanda Morrison, Joseph Morrison, Alaine Morrison, Eden Morrison, Chayne Morrison, Kelsey Morrison, Kolton Morrison, Jessica Morrison and Drew Morrison; great great grandchildren, Dylan Morrison and Summer Spradling; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents; grandson, Eric Morrison; great granddaughter, Makayla Morrison; sisters, Alberta Webb and Elizabeth McFarland; infant brother, Johnnie Taylor Morrison; and daughter-in-law, Crystal Morrison. Mr. Morrison retired from the State of Illinois after several years of service. He loved all and attended many sporting activities.
