Geneva Mae Trella

Marion – Geneva Mae Trella, 79, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Derek Shaw officiating. Mrs. Trella will be interred in Rose Hill Cemetery after the funeral services. A time of gathering for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 5:00 PM—8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mae was born on April 1, 1933 in Johnston City, Illinois to Guy & Mabel (Malcolm) Follis.She married her late husband,Walter David Pulley, on October 24, 1953; he preceded her on October 31, 1974. Mae then married Joseph M. Trella on September 17, 1977; he preceded her on November 30, 1996. She is survived by her daughters, Sherri Pulley and Tammy King; Sons, Kevin ( Brigetta) Pulley and Brian Pulley; Grandchildren, Greg (Jennifer) Pulley , Jeremy Pulley, Brittany Pulley, Whitney King, Mitchell Pulley, Gage Pulley, Michael King; Great Grandchildren Noah Pulley and Emmerson Pulley; Nephews, Mike Patterson and Tracey Patterson; Half Sister-in-law, Charleen Follis. Mrs. Trella was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; Son, Greg Pulley; Daughter, Darla Pulley; Brother, Clyde Follis; Sister, Bessie Patterson; Half Brother, Floyd Follis, and 5 infant brothers. Mrs. Trella was a graduate of Johnston City High School. She retired from Olin Corporation after working there for 33 years. Mae was of the Protestant Faith, and greatly enjoyed doing work around her yard. Mae will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
