Gene Hankins

Gene Hankins, 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his home.

Gene was born on March 10, 1937 in Harco to Lyman and Lillian (Schwartz) Hankins.  He married Linda Thompson on December 24, 1956 in Brookport.

Gene worked in sales at Napa Auto parts for 45 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Hankins; two infant sisters and brother and sister in law, Wayne and Fern Hankins.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2pm at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with Rev. Bruce Fox officiating.  Visitation will be on Monday from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.

Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the service are asked to maintain social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask.

Memorials may be made to All Nations Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
