Gary L. Flowers CREAL SPRINGS–Gary L. Flowers, 53, of Creal Springs passed away at 8:52 AM, Sunday, December 14, 2008 at his residence surrounded by his family. In respect with Gary’s own personal wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Gary was born on June 2, 1955 in Fulton, Kentucky to Charlie and Lillie (Darnell) Flowers. He married Karen Sepe on December 8, 1975 in Chicago; together they shared 33 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Karen Flowers of Creal Springs; daughter, Melanie Flowers of Coral Springs, Florida; son, Gary Daniel Flowers of Ripley, Tennessee; his father, Charlie Flowers of Ooltewah, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law, Veneda & Mark Janisse of Thousand Oaks, California; and brothers, James Flowers of Los Angeles, California, Kelly Flowers and his fiancé, Bonnie of Wingo, Kentucky, and Darell Flowers and his finace, Juanita of Mayfield, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his mother. Gary had been employed at Pepsi Cola Bottling Company for over 15 years. He started out as a driver a foreman. He loved to play golf at Pine Lake Golf Course in Energy. He served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
