Garaldean Burnett MARION- 8220;Garaldean Burnett, 80, of Marion passed away at 9:30 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2008 at City Care of Cobden. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion with Pastor Anthony Underwood officiating. There will be no visitation. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Burnett was born on February 25, 1927 in Franklin County, Illinois to Harry and Bonnie (Odle) Fleming. She married Alta Burnett; he preceded her in death on June 18, 1985. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Donald and Peggy Ragsdale of Johnston City and Merrell Burnett of Benton; daughter, Darla Pattillo of Johnston City; daughter-in-law, Rita Burnett of Herrin; step-children, Peggy Owens, Otis Burnett and Sue Burnett all of West Frankfort; thirty-one grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and sisters, Donna Sue Meyers of Herrin and Peggy Fleming of West Frankfort. She was preceded by her parents; husband; son, Charles Burnett; step-son, James Burnett; brothers, Zane Fleming and Blaine Fleming; and sisters, Arlene Fleming and Janice Fleming.
