GOREVILLE-Fronie Belle Wilson, 77, of Marion, formerly of Goreville, passed away at 3:00 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2005 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Reverend Shorty Alsip officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Goreville. Mrs. Wilson was born on March 21, 1927 in Johnson County to Guss and Vertie (Thornton) Perry. She married George Columbus Wilson on January 4, 1942 in Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1975.
Survivors include daughters, Katy and Bob Tripp of Goreville, Barbara and Roy Rogers of Johnston City, Linda and Keith Oxford of Marion; son, George E. Wilson of Marion; grandchildren, Mike Tripp, Shawn and Julie Tripp, Todd and Sarah Tripp, Teresa and Bobby Massey, Dawnetta Wilson, Jeff and Mechelle Rogers, Keith Rogers and Ashley Tanner, Tonya and Phillip Hampton, Heather Oxford, Justin Oxford; great grandchildren, Kyle and Shanna Massey, Tosha Massey, Seth, Brooke, Kelsey and Austin Tripp, Dayton and Brenne Jo Tripp, Candice Rogers, Haleigh Rogers, Brittany Steinmetz, Tyler Rogers, Jill Tanner, Kobe Tanner, Logan and Caleb; great-great grandchildren, Alexis, Peyton and Kyleigh Massey, Seth, Brooke, Kelsey, Austin and Autumn Tripp; sisters, Lorene and Eugene Jolly of Mattoon, Juanita Stroud of Mattoon, Virgie and Dale Billingsley of Goreville, Wilma and Ronald Stroud of Goreville; brothers, Ernest and Clara Faye Perry of Goreville, Kenneth and Alma Lee Perry of Pittsburg, John and Marilyn Perry of Marion; sisters-in-law, Nellie Wright of Carbondale, Wilma Robertson of Murphysboro; brother-in-law, Jim Hancock of Goreville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Alma Jean Wilson; sisters, Geneive Hancock and Lois Billingsley.
She was a member of Spillertown Baptist Church and loved attending there. Mrs. Wilson loved flowers and gardening and watching birds.
She will be missed by all.
