Marion-Frederick Eugene Stein, 90, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Frederick was born on May 25, 1924 in Effingham County, IL to Frederick Earl and Maude (Culley) Stein.
Survivors include:

Daughter-Linda Mae (Stein) Hewlett

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Emma Louise Stein, Winifred Aline, Myra Marie (Stein) Hooper, Belva Lorene (Stein) Eubank and brother, Lester Lea Stein.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Mahon Cemetery in rural Mason, IL. Military rites will be performed by the American Legion Post #1168 Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
