Tunnel Hill-Frankie Lee Poole, 61, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Frankie was born on July 5, 1957 in Union County to Manford and Rosanna (Schierbaum) Poole. He married Penny Cathey on December 26, 2001 in Tunnel Hill. Frankie was a member of the NRA and worked for Robinson Construction in Perryville, MO. His hobbies included hunting and fishing and he loved his flashlight. Survivors include: Wife-Penny Poole of Tunnel Hill Children: Amanda Gibson and husband Kevin of Tunnel Hill Erica Stiff and husband Carl (CC) of Tunnel Hill Adam Poole of Marion Joseph Harris and wife Michaela of Metropolis Mother-Rosanne Poole of Tunnel Hill Brother-Robert Poole and special friend, Marsha Cantrell of Tunnel Hill Sister-Jennifer Walker and husband Jerrod 14 grandchildren Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins He was preceded in death by his father, Manford Eugene Poole; brother, Donald Eugene Poole; niece, Lillian Rose Walker and stepfather, Ron Doerge. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Rev. Andy Lee officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Inclusion-Body Myositis and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/PO Box 411/Marion, IL 62959.
