Frank L. Davis CREAL SPRINGS-Frank L. Davis, 69, of Creal Springs passed away at 8:16 PM, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. In accordance with Frank’s wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Frank was born June 20, 1941 in Creal Springs to George and Bertha Davis. He married Nancy Smith on July 28, 1963 in Creal Springs; she survives. Survivors include his wife Nancy of Creal Springs; daughter, Shellie Donohue; grandchildren, Branson John “B.J.” Donohue and Bobbi Jo Donohue; brothers, Charles & Lois Davis, Deon & Judy Davis, and Cecil & Joann Davis; sister, Loretta & Eddie Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ronald Gene Davis. Frank was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle on DeYoung Street in Marion. Frank was retired from A&K Specialty Contractors as a carpenter.
