Marion-Florene Clarida, 90, passed away at 6:02pm on Friday, October 31, 2014 at her home. Florene was born on August 24, 1924 in Williamson County to Gilbert & Esther Motsinger. She married John Clarida on June 29, 1941. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1995. Florene attended New Burnside Church. She loved sewing, crafts, working in the garden, enjoyed flowers and shopping for shoes and purses. Florene will be missed by all. Survivors include: Children: Karen Richey of Marion Phyllis & Billy Tanner of Marion Grandchildren: Deborah Green (Jody) of McLeansboro Gayla Meyer (Kent) of Marion Great-grandchildren: Travis Green of McLeansboro Caleb Green (Liz) of Freer, TX Great-great-grandchildren: Kolter Green, Weston Green, Waylon Green & Ryder Green Sister-Ida Mae Boswell of Marion She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Tim Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Monday from 11am until the time of the service at the funeral home. The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/PO Box 411/Marion, IL 62959.
