Faye Fox

MARION - Faye Maurine Fox, 77, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at her home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, in Grange Hall Church in Marion with the Revs. Kevin McNeely and Kenny Blumenstock officiating. Burial will be in East Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Grange Hall Church. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements. Faye was born April 20, 1935, in Marion to Charles and Ruth (Gulledge) Ragain. She married Donald Lyle Cutrell, and to this union three daughters were born in Trina, Cheryl and Karla. She later married William Paul Fox, who preceded her in death March 21, 1980, and to this union their son, Dugie, was born. She is survived by her children, Trina and Gary Clark of Marion, Cheryl and Tom Buffington of Marion, Karla Johnson of Marion and Dugie and Brandi Fox of Marion; grandchildren, Benjie Kent, Misty Riddle, Wesley and Ali Buffington, Cody and Brandy Buffington, Ashley Buffington, Adam Johnson, Justin and Rachael Johnson, Caleb and Kassie Johnson, Wyatt Fox and Walker Fox; great-grandchildren, Nicole Kent, Abbie Kent, Gage Kent, Lanie Kent, Chase Riddle, Hannah Riddle, Ethan Riddle, Hevyn Riddle, Drake Buffington, Keirsten Buffington, Colton Lezu, Hayden Lezu, Trent Johnson and Ashlynn Johnson; brothers, Max and Ellie Ragain, Jim Ragain and Ricky and Linda Ragain; sister, Patricia and Sam Stearns; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Ragain; husband, Bill Fox; brothers, Joe Ragain and Gene Ragain; sister, Lois Ragain; and son-in-law, Danny Jobe. Faye was a member of Grange Hall Church. Family always came first for Faye. Her hobbies included being outdoors and gardening. She loved the Lord, baking pies for everyone and making people happy. She was an Eastern Star member. She will be greatly missed by all.
