Farrow Mack Johnson PITTSBURG-Farrow Mack Johnson, 63, of Pittsburg passed away at 2:00 AM, Saturday, January 27, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Gaylon Parks, Reverend J. W. Merrell and Reverend Matthew Troxel officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, January 29, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant “Poordo” Cemetery, east of Marion. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mr. Johnson was born September 8, 1943 in Hayward County, Tennessee to Elmer Hugh and Myrtle (Greenway) Johnson. He married Elsie Orr on July 6, 1970 in Brownsville, Tennessee; together they shared 36 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Elsie of Pittsburg; sons, Farrow Wayne Johnson and Timothy Hugh Johnson both of Pittsburg; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruby Lee and Homer Gene Replogle of Memphis, Tennessee and Marie Winters of Fort Worth, Texas; and mother-in-law, Carrie Munsell of Johnston City. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and one sister. Mr. Johnson was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors Corporation after many years of employment.
