Evelyn M. Hoban MARION-Evelyn M. Hoban, 93, of Marion passed away at 10:40 PM, Friday, April 27, 2006 at the Herrin Hospital. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Blue Funeral home in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Hagi Funeral Home in Streator, Illinois with Reverend Louis Fluck and Father Gene Tucker officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home in Streator. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Streator. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Hoban was born on January 25, 1913 in Streator, Illinois to Stephen and Esther (Hill) Law. She married Carl Hoban on Aril 25, 1930 in Pontiac, Illinois. He preceded her in death on September19, 1983. Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Gary Gilbert of Marion; son and daughter-in-law James and Renza Hoban of Carlsbad, California; daughter, Kay Morris of Pinehall, North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Lee Smith of Scottsdale, Arizona; Daughter and son-in-law, Eleise and Randy Cox of Tullahoma, Tennessee; grandchildren. Kristine Marler, Howard Lee, Sharon and Larry Sheretz, Vicki and Tom Anderson, Ronald and Charlietta Lee, Paula and William Holder, Denise and Leonard Sanchez, Desiree and Darin Maw, Timothy Morris, Jeffery Morris, Michael Morris, Christopher Morris, Erik and Carey Smith, Ryan and Holly Smith, Gretchen and Bradley Sayre, Heather and Tim Emm, Erin Cox; nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son; grandsons, Dennis Hoban and Ryan David Smith; sister, Hazel Wolf. Evelyn was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Marion.
