Ethel Mae Malone GOREVILLE-Ethel Mae Malone, 81, of Goreville passed away at 5:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 24, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Reverend R. G. Null officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, Friday, November 24, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery, north of Goreville. Mrs. Malone was born on March 29, 1925 in Marion, Illinois to John T. and Martha (Grisham) Hill. Survivors include her children, Hubert, Jr. and Janet Malone of Goreville, Opal Osborne of Elverado, Texas, Wayne Lee and Veletta Malone of Linton, Indiana and Barbara and Ray Lowrance of Goreville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Malone was of the Pentecostal faith. She liked to quilt and loved to sing. She was a great cook and baker. She was a mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
